Dates: This contest will be a monthly contest, which will be run every month until further notice.
How to sign up: Participants must sign up for this contest by clicking the above graphic and requesting addition to this contest. Participants must remain an active community member (no more than 30 days between posts in community pages). As long as participants are active community members, they will automatically be rolled over for the next months contests. So there is no need to keep signing up every month.
How it works: Each purchase from participants in the contest will result in a "ticket" being entered for that user. So if a member has ten purchases for the month, they would have ten tickets for this drawing. At the end of the month winners will be randomly chosen from all tickets awarded for the month. Winners will be chosen via a random MySQL query (computer generated), and the results will be posted on the Shop2Win page.
Payouts: Payouts and/or prizes will be increased over time, as popularity and activity increases for this contest. Payouts will be completed on the 7th of each month, for the previous month. Payments may be delayed if there is question about the validity of purchases, or if there are transactions that have not been completed.
Rules and Guidelines:
Buyers are not allowed to purchase their own items, via another account.
Purchases from the same household or PC would be considered a "self purchase", and is not allowed for contest participants.
All purchases must be an actual transfer of funds for goods or services. Purchases found only for the purpose of building buy numbers are not allowed.
Buyers with unresolved non paying bidder reports will be disqualified.
All winners will be posted in the "Winners Circle" forum. Winners must agree to make at least one post in the thread we use to announce their win.
This must be completed within seven days of the prize/cash being awarded.
Violations of any of the above rules could disqualify buyers from the current and/or future contests.
